Executive Coach: Marilyn's

Monthlys 25 under 25 (employees) award. A contributor to Coaching by the Book and Professional
Ethics and Legal Issues in Coaching, Marilyn published an inspiring email newsletter for four years. Her Renewing Your Spirit column ran in kcmag.com, her career columns in The Kansas City Star, and her features have appeared in The Brazil Herald/Latin American Daily Post, and other publications. She has published a Renewing Your Spirit workbook, available on her website. Marilyns credentials make her a leader among coaches and presenters. With her behavioral science background and extensive training, she quickly assesses a situation and co-develops a plan to take her clients to the next level. Marilyn was educated at Southern Methodist University (BA with honors, Texas and Spain), and the University of Kansas (MSW), with postgraduate training in coaching through the Institute for Life Coach Training; systems theory (two year program); forty hours of mediation through the Kansas Bar Association; thirty hours at the Intercultural Communication Institute; and leadership exchanges. She is credentialed as a Master Certified Coach (representing over 2000 hours of coaching, 200 hours of training, and passing oral and written exams) through the International Coach Federation, and is a Coachville member. Personally, Marilyn models a balanced life, and is passionate about God, people she holds dear, and her work. Marilyn's commitment to others includes donating 10% of her income, currently to Young Life Ministries, donating 1 month of coaching to charitable auctions, and serving in her professional organization. Her commitment to the environment is demonstrated through recycling, limiting energy/water usage, and seeking a home where she can walk rather than drive.
